Montpellier, Cheltenham

Situated on one of the best streets in Cheltenham, this four-storey townhouse boasted impressive proportions and exquisite architectural elements. Our task was to transform its existing layout, which consisted of separated bedsits, into a spacious single-family residence with a welcoming and eclectic aesthetic.

When our client purchased this large Georgian townhouse in the centre of Montpellier, Cheltenham it was derelict and had been used as student accommodation for decades. Upon exchanging on the property, we immediately began working together on the interior architecture of the home. After trying countless configurations, we arrived at the final layout for each floor. This project really was an exercise in interior space planning and restoration. It was important to us that we reinstate and refurbish as much of the existing features as possible. By letting these features take centre-stage, the outcome is an impressive and eclectically designed single-family home which is ideal for entertaining and enjoying.
