WOW!house 2026, London

Park Avenue meets English country manor. Our room for WOW!house 2026 took its inspiration from the Georgian withdrawing room, the space guests would retire to after dinner for conversation, champagne, and evenings that gently unfold.

We imagined the room belonging to a transatlantic modern collector, moving effortlessly between New York, Paris, and London, with this as her English countryside anchor. For her, liveability is everything. Nothing is saved for best: the crystal coupes may carry the odd chip, the seating a beautiful patina of use. It is everyday luxury in its truest sense, a room that feels layered, loved, and genuinely lived in.

The design is a nod to tradition with a fresh twist throughout. A Zardi tapestry, inspired by historic palaces and the Sir John Soane’s Museum, hangs above the sofa on a Collier Webb Classic Picture Rail System, lit by an articulated rail-mounted light in hand-rubbed antique brass. The fabrics breathe new life into classic designs, while low-level lighting sets the atmosphere as evening draws in. Wherever possible, we sourced from makers local to us in the Cotswolds and across the UK as a celebration of genuine craft and the stories behind it.

With complete creative freedom, we designed the room instinctively from the moment we were approached. A joyful, adventurous, and quietly classical space made for long evenings, interesting stories, and nights danced away.
